Fit note for Labradors
Labs are barrel-chested — measure chest girth first, not weight. A 65lb Lab often needs the same chest measurement as an 85lb dog of another breed. Look for adjustable chest and belly straps. Avoid pull-over styles — step-in or side-buckle is much easier.
